
I was most impressed with my Badger performance completing it in sub 30 minutes. Since I felt so good after, I waited an hour and decided to do some light deadlifts which was 3 sets of 10 at 315lbs. That was fine, but then as the next day went on I began to notice some pain in my right foot. I assume the pain was caused from the deadlifts, but more importantly probably from the shoes I've been lifting in for months now. I lift in wrestling shoes mainly because they are bad ass, but I can't afford a serious injury now. Due to this I have given in and have ordered a pair of olympic weightlifting shoes and I can't wait till they arrive!
My foot still feels a little weird but it has been improving each day. I'm still WODDing on it, but staying away from barbell WODs for now till my O shoes come nahmane. Anyway, looking forward to another week of training.
