Endurance
Based on the CrossFit endurance model, the Endurance program is intended to run in conjunction with an athlete’s regular membership classes (WODs). This program is specifically designed to:
- Improve your running form
- Help you to safely gain speed and stamina
- Teach you how to avoid chronic use injury
- Inspire you to run faster
- Ensure that you HAVE FUN RUNNING!!
The Program will consist of:
- Three to Four CrossFit workouts/week
- One group-coached interval session at Brookdale Track - meets 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays,
- One assigned tempo/stamina run,
- One assigned interval workout.
- Individual monitoring and feedback from the coach
This program runs in one-month increments. While it is not mandatory, we do recommend that athletes commit to a minimum of a three-month period to achieve the maximum benefit. Athletes, at their option, will have the opportunity to train and compete in local races.
The Endurance Program is Out of Session for the winter months.
